Radio Frequency Jammers – The Uses and Benefits

Posted on October 21, 2014 at 3:05 pm

All around the world, terrorists are using remote control improvised explosive devices (RCIEDs) to cause large numbers of casualties. High-quality IED jammers can significantly reduce those losses. In short, these devices are necessary for protecting human lives. Be that as it may, it is important first to understand what these devices are before delving into its numerous benefits and uses.

Most homemade bombs or improvised electronic devices are made using conventional military explosives. In other words, an artillery round or another explosive is connected to a detonating mechanism. Ultimately, a command from a remote control is necessary to activate this device. IED jammers work by saturating a measured area with electromagnetic energy. Mobile Security and the Military

Posted on October 19, 2014 at 4:33 pm

There has been a bit of an influx of mobile security applications, but some people argue that the military is asking for trouble, especially considering the threat from cyber attacks.

Mobile security applications are designed to give the soldiers on the ground more situation awareness, allowing them to operate more efficiently, however cyber stacks can cost soldiers their lives, so is it really worth the risk?

Security breaches happen, but the fact is modern-day soldiers are trained to perform with and without technology, and no soldier will ever need to rely upon a mobile device. There’s no guarantee that applications can be 100% secure, but if they regularly help the military perform well, then surely there’s no reason why they can’t be used going forward in the future.

High Security Key Safes

Posted on October 13, 2014 at 5:24 pm

Key safes are common in commercial properties with many different rooms and outbuildings, like warehouses, factories, construction sites and large shops.

A key safe is essentially a safe design to store and organise different keys for the various rooms, and it means that during the working day and out of hours, keys cannot be taken or copied. Many modern key safes benefit from electronic access, such as keypads or touch screen displays while they’re mainly constructed of strong steel.

Storing all your keys in one locked room is just is not enough today and it’s certainly better to be safe than sorry. This is why having a key safe is a must, especially if you’re looking to maintain high levels of security for each of the important storage rooms, while only trusted members of management should be allowed to access the safe.

Making sure your Workplace is Secure

Posted on October 3, 2014 at 7:42 pm

A workplace may be a small office, a large factory or a large retail shop, but no matter what size or shape your workplace is, it’s important to make sure that it’s secure.

Strong, steel doors may not look pleasing on the eye but they’ll provide a great deal of protection, while door and window guard rails are also very beneficial in terms of security. CCTV can deter theft and burglary, while it provides crucial evidence in such events.

Another popular system is an alarm system as well as a pin code entry system. Before you design your workplace, it’s important to make sure you’ve considered security, not just to protect your products, but to protect your employees and customers too.
