More Is Better

Wireless security cameras are now relatively affordable for the average user, so there’s no reason why a security system should have more than one. Multiple inexpensive cameras will provide greater visual coverage than a single expensive camera. Also remember that a multiple camera setup will work best with the cameras zoomed in, as opposed to a zoomed out image which can tend to pixelate easily upon viewing.

Position Well

Much like taking a photo, positioning a camera at an angle that captures an area accurately will produce a better images. Try not to point the camera at the ground and consider what might obstruct the viewing angle. It’s also important to angle the cameras away from areas that emit a lot of light, as it will cause the images to get washed out. Finally make sure cameras are located in an area that has access to a reliable WiFi signal.
